Kim "Stats" Dae Yeob has defeated Kang "Solar" Min Soo in the grand finals of Assembly Summer 2019, a $25,000 StarCraft II event that took place this weekend in Helsinki, Finland.
In the playoffs stage eight players competed in a single-elimination bracket, where quarterfinals and semifinals were best-of-five, while the grand finals was best-of-seven. Stats, who earlier placed first in his group, defeated herO (3-1) in the quarterfinals and Serral (3-2) in the semifinals. The grand finals concluded with the 4-2 score in favour of Stats. This victory granted the player $10,000 in prize money.
