North to Finish ESL One: Road to Rio with Jumpy Replacing Kjaerbye

The Danish CS:GO team will finish their run at ESL One: Road to Rio – Europe with a replacement. The team’s coach Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson had to stand in for Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye, who became unwell.

Last evening North played against Riders with Jumpy replacing Kjaerbye – the team managed to defeat their opponents with the 2-0 score. According to the tournament’s rules, the team will have to finish the competition with Jumpy and will lose 20% of earned qualification points.

Currently the team has a 3-3 score in Group B. In their last match within the group stage they will face G2 Esports. The series is scheduled for May 10th, 5:30 PM UK Time. It is still possible that the team will make it to either upper or lower bracket.
