Misery and Bulba Join Evil Geniuses, Universe and SVG Are Out
Evil Geniuses announced big changes in its Dota 2 roster – the North American organization has signed contracts with Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen and Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale, while Saahil "UNiVeRsE" Arora and Avery "SVG" Silverman are no longer part of the team.
With the updated roster there also will be a significant change of roles within the team. As MISERY joins the team as a captain and support and Bulba takes place of a coach, Sumail will move to the offlane, Arteezy will become a full-time mid player, while Fear will come back to his previous role – carry.
UNiVeRsE used to play as an offlaner and overall has spent more than four years with Evil Geniuses, together they placed first at The International 2015 and Dota 2 Asia Championships, also they placed third at The International 2014, The International 2016, The Frankfurt Major 2015 and The Shanghai Major 2016. SVG joined the organization in May 2017 as a coach. Both UNiVeRSe and SVG will continue their carriers, but there is no detailed information about their future yet.
