LEC Summer 2020 Regular Season Results: Rogue Are the First to Qualify for 2020 Worlds

This weekend concluded the regular season of LEC Summer 2020. Not only it determined six participants of the playoffs, but its winner – Rogue – became the first team to qualify for 2020 World Championship.

The regular season featured 10 teams competing in a single group with double round robin format and best-of-one series. Top four teams qualified to the upper bracket, while the teams placed 5th-6th advanced to the lower bracket. The results look as follows:

The playoffs stage will be played on August 21st – September 6th and will follow a double-elimination format with best-of-five series. The first semifinal is scheduled for 5:00 PM UK Time, August 21st and will feature Rogue competing with Fnatic. The second semifinal between G2 Esports and MAD Lions will be played on August 22nd, 4:00 PM. The first round of the lower bracket, where SK Gaming will face FC Schalke, will begin on 4:00 PM, August 23rd.
