HellRaisers Parts Ways with Dota 2 Roster

CIS-based organization HellRaisers announced that they parted ways with their Dota 2 roster. The players will continue to play together under Planet Dog tag with addition of new carry player – Dmitry "Ditya Ra" Minenkov.

Keyser, 33, MiLAN and j4 started to play together back in April 2017 in Prodota Gaming. Later they left the organization to form a new team for the qualifiers for The International 2017 and were joined by Uroš "Swiftending" Galić. The roster managed to qualify for TI through the second phase of European qualifiers and was signed by HellRaisers. At The International the team failed to advance from the group, finishing the group stage with 1-15 score and placing last at the tournament. In the post-TI period Swiftending left the team and was replaced by Alaan "SexyBamboe" Faraj. The team participated in various qualifiers but managed to qualify only for WCA, which was clearly not the result the organization was hoping for.

CEO of HellRaisers Aleksey "xaoc" Kucherov commented on the decision:

Dear friends and fans of HellRaisers, from now on, our organization and the Dota 2 team will go different roads. We want to please our viewers with a big number of wins, so we'll look for other prospective opportunities in esports disciplines. Due to the current schedule of tournaments, you're either in the top 8 and attend almost all events, or you're not in the top 8 and it's extremely hard for you to qualify for a LAN as you fight with the best Dota 2 teams for 1 slot in Europe. Although the organization rejected the players, they are not willing to part ways with each other. They have already stated that they will continue to play together, with Ditya Ra taking place of SexyBamboe. Previously Ditya Ra used to play for Natus Vincere and Vega Squadron, but lately he’s been inactive for the entire season.
