ForZe Secure Last Ticket to EPICENTER 2019

The CIS closed qualifier for EPICENTER 2019 has concluded with forZe defeating Gambit Youngsters with the 2-0 score. The team will travel to Moscow this December to compete for a $500,000 prize pool.

The qualifier was played on November 23rd-24th and featured eight teams playing in a single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three series. On their way to the finals forZe defeated Na`Vi Junior (2-0) and pro100 (2-1). In the final series they emerged victorious at both Vertigo (22-20) and Inferno (16-12).

Earlier regional qualifiers concluded in Europe and China, where Heroic and EHOME respectively secured their places at the main event. The other participants were directly invited by the organizers, among them are AVANGAR, Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, Natus Vincere and Team Vitality.

EPICENTER 2019 will take place on December 17th-22nd at Crocus Expo Hall in Moscow, Russia. The event is organized by Epic Esports Events.
