Evil Geniuses Withdrew from OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Americas

Evil Geniuses are no longer listed among the participants of OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Americas. Their place in the line-up has been taken by 4 Zoomers. Neither the organization nor the tournament's host have officially explained the decision.

Since March Evil Geniuses have been forced to play with stand-ins, as their two core players – Abed Azel L. Yusop from Philippines and Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev from Russia – have been in their homelands during the quarantine, unable to play on American servers with reasonable ping.

Lately the team has been playing mostly with Eric "Ryoya" Dong and Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale, with them the team emerged victorious at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online: NA and BTS Pro Series: Americas. At their most recent event – BTS Pro Series Season 2: Americas – the team competed without Bulba, as Kartik "Kitrak" Rathi played on the forth position and Andreas Franck "Cr1t-" Nielsen moved to the offlane, managing to finish 3rd at the event.

OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Americas is scheduled for July 16th – 21st and will feature eight teams competing for a $25,000 prize pool. Besides 4 Zoomers, the line-up includes Thunder Predator, Midas Club, Quincy Crew, beastcoast, Infamous, business associates and CR4ZY. The event is also currently ongoing in China, and will begin in Europe on July 27th.
