Liquid secure the final playoff spot at BLAST Slam VI

Liquid advanced to the BLAST Slam VI playoffs after defeating GamerLegion 2:0 in the decisive match for a place in the knockout stage. The victory allowed the team to complete the list of playoff participants for the tournament.

On the first map, Liquid took control from the very start and confidently dictated the pace of the game, leaving their opponents with little room to respond. The second map proved far more intense, as Liquid had to fight back during the match and pull off a comeback despite a noticeable gold deficit by the middle of the game.

Earlier, Team Yandex, Falcons, and HEROIC had already qualified for the playoffs through the Play-In stage. In the semifinals, they will be joined by the strongest teams from the group stage — OG and NAVI, who secured direct qualification to the later phase of the tournament.

The playoffs will be held in a LAN format in Malta starting on February 13 and will last for three days. The tournament winner will take home $400,000 in prize money, while the runner-up will earn $200,000.
