Spirit and Vitality advance to the IEM Krakow semifinals

On February 3, all playoff participants of IEM Krakow were determined.

Spirit defeated G2 in the decisive Group A match and secured a spot in the IEM Krakow semifinals. The series ended 2:1, with Spirit taking Anubis and Dust 2, while G2 were only stronger on Overpass.

Despite the loss, G2 will continue their run at the tournament. The team finished second in the group and will start the playoffs from the quarterfinal stage, where they will face one of the top teams from Group B.

Meanwhile, Falcons failed to reach the playoffs after losing to MOUZ in the match for the final spot. Both maps went to overtime, but MOUZ proved more consistent in key moments. Even a strong individual performance from kyousuke was not enough to change the outcome.

In parallel matches, the teams for the second quarterfinal were also decided, with Aurora set to face FURIA.

The IEM Krakow playoff matches will begin on Friday, February 6.
