PVISION sweep Falcons to win BLAST Bounty Winter
PVISION claimed the BLAST Bounty Winter title by defeating Falcons in the tournament final. The decisive series ended in a clean 3:0, with PVISION not dropping a single map.
The final was controlled by PVISION from start to finish: Mirage ended 13:9, while both Dust 2 and Inferno finished 13:11. Falcons competed without kyousuke and zonic: the player missed the event due to visa issues, while the Falcons coach remained at home for family reasons.
Despite the loss in the final, NiKo was named the best player of BLAST Bounty Winter according to HLTV.
The victory earned PVISION $294,000 in prize money — more than the team had accumulated over the entire history of its CS roster before this event. This marks the organization’s first tier-one trophy; previously, PVISION had only appeared once at a tournament of this level, finishing 15–16th at the StarLadder Budapest Major.
The next tournament for both teams will be IEM Krakow, which begins on January 28. PVISION will start the championship from the Play-In stage, while Falcons will enter directly in the group stage.
