Team Empire Replaces its Carry Player

The management of Team Empire announced changes in its Dota 2 roster: the squad’s carry player Alexander "Nix" Levin leaves the team, he will be replaced by Aybek "Naïve-"Tokaev.

Nix joined Team Empire in February 2018 after leaving M19. Together they managed to qualify for DreamLeague Season 9, where placed 5-6th and received $15,000 in prize money, they also placed first in the qualifiers for EPICENTER XL. Despite this, the management of the club was not satisfied with the team's results and decided to make additional changes to the roster – Nix will be replaced by Aybek "Naïve-" Tokaev, a 17-years-old player from Kazakhstan. At the moment the player is sitting at the 4th place of the European MMR rankings. As for the professional scene, Naïve- doesn’t have a lot of experience. He has however participated in the closed qualifiers for MDL Changsha with Gambit Esports, where the team placed 3rd-4th after losing 0-2 against Team Spirit in the semifinals. In the coming days updated roster of Team Empire will participate in closed qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham, and closer to the end of the month the team will travel to Moscow to take part in EPICENTER XL LAN-finals.
