OpTic Gaming Invited to DreamHack Open Summer 2018

The organizers of DreamHack Open Summer 2018 revealed the final participant of the upcoming CS:GO event – in two weeks OpTic Gaming will travel to Jönköping, Sweden to compete with other 7 teams for their share of a $100,000 prize pool.

The tournament’s line-up consists of six invited teams (AGO Esports, Gambit Esports, GODSENT, North, Renegades and OpTic Gaming) and the winners of European and North American qualifiers – The Imperial and compLexity Gaming respectively. The event will be held on June 16-18 at Elmia Convention Center. During the group stage the participating teams will be split into two GSL groups with best-of-one initial and winner’s matches and best-of-three elimination and decider matches. Top two teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three series. The winner of the event will get half of the prize pool – $50,000.

The previous DreamHack event took place on May 19-21 in Tours, France. In the grand finals North defeated HellRaisers (2-0).
