Next CS:GO Major to be Hosted by FACEIT in London
It was officially announced that the next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major tournament will take place at Wembley Arena in London and will be hosted by FACEIT.
The second CS:GO major of 2018 will be held between September 20th and September 23rd and feature a $1,0000,000 prize pool. Although the format of the event is still not announced, we can expect to see eight teams that earned the “legends” status at ELEAGUE Major 2018 – FaZe Clan, SK Gaming, Natus Vincere, Fnatic, Cloud9, mousesports, G2 Esports and Quantum Bellator Fire.
FACEIT is a company based in London, which well-known for its competitive gaming platform and Esports Championship Series CS:GO tournaments.
The previous Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major tournament was held by ELEAGUE on January 12-28 in Boston. In the grand finals Cloud9 outplayed FaZe Clan 2-1 to receive $500,000 in prize money.
