HellRaisers Qualify for WePlay! Clutch Island Stage 1

HellRaisers have defeated S-Gaming in the grand finals of the second open qualifier for RMR-event for CIS teams WePlay! Clutch Island. In the deciding series they were defeated on Dust II (13:16), but emerged victorious at both Vertigo (16:13) and Nuke (16:11).

Thanks to this victory, the team qualified for the first stage of WePlay Clutch Island. This stage will feature eight teams competing in two GSL groups for four tickets to the second stage. Five of the teams were directly invited thanks to their RMR-rating, including Nemiga Gaming, Gambit Youngsters, Syman Gaming, forZe and ESPADA. Earlier Hollywood managed to win the first open qualifier, while the last third qualifier will be played today, on June 10th.

The main part of the event – Stage 3 – will be played on June 16th – 28th. Eight teams, including the leaders of the RMR-rankings Hard Legion Esports, Team Spirit, Virtus.pro, Winstrike Team and Natus Vincere, as well as top three teams of the second stage, will compete for a $50,000 prize pool and qualification points towards the major ESL One: Rio 2020.
