Groups and Schedule for IEM XV Beijing: Europe Revealed

ESL have revealed the final details on their upcoming CS:GO event IEM XV – Beijing Online: Europe, which begins later this week – including the tournament’s schedule and the seeds for the group stage.

The group stage, scheduled for November 6th – 14th, will feature two GSL groups with best-of-three series. The groups will be played one by one. Group A matches will be held between November 6th – 8th. The pairs for the first matches are as follows (UK time):

• 2:00 PM, Nov 6: Vitality vs Spirit
• 5:30 PM, Nov 6: FaZe vs OG
• 2:00 PM, Nov 7: MAD Lions vs NAVI
• 5:30 PM, Nov 7: Complexity vs Fnatic

Group B is scheduled for November 12th – 16th, the opening series are following:

• 2:00 PM, Nov 12: Heroic vs North
• 5:30 PM, Nov 12: G2 vs NiP
• 2:00 PM, Nov 13: Astralis vs ENCE
• 5:30 PM, Nov 13: BIG vs mousesports

The best four teams from each group will play in the single-elimination playoffs bracket, where all regular matches will be best-of-three and the grand finals will be best-of-five. The playoffs is scheduled for November 19th – 22nd.

The European division of Intel Extreme Masters XV – Beijing Online will feature a $150,000 prize pool. Besides that, its winner will qualify for IEM XV – Global Challenge. The event will also be held in North America, Oceania, and Asia.
