EWC 2026 CS2 qualifiers started

Esports World Cup 2026 qualifiers on Counter-Strike 2 started on August 7. 64 teams compete for the final four spots on the final stage in a three-day LAN format.

Participants are divided into 16 groups of four teams in each. The group stage is double-elimination in BO3 format. The top two from each group move forward to the single-elimination playoffs.

Team Liquid, HEROIC, 100 Thieves, NRG and Ukrainian teams BC.Game, fnatic take part in the qualifiers. The LAN format requires quick adaptation and stable play under pressure of the tournament.
