Team Spirit wins second Esports World Cup title

Team Spirit claimed the title of Esports World Cup 2025 champions in Dota 2. In the final showdown, Spirit crushed Falcons with a 3-0 scoreline.

Throughout the tournament, the future champions dropped only one map — in their first group stage match against Xtreme Gaming (1:1). Every other series, including all playoff matches, was won by Spirit without conceding a single map.

For winning the event, Spirit earned $1,000,000. Falcons, finishing in second place, took home $500,000. The total prize pool for the tournament was $3 million.

This marks the second Esports World Cup title for Spirit — the team also won the event in 2023. In addition, this is their second major title in 2025, following their victory at DreamLeague Season 25.
