Copenhagen Games 2018, a major Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event with $100,000 at stake has concluded with a victory of The Imperial over Heroic with 2-1 score.

Copenhagen Games 2018 was held in the capital of Denmark on March 30th – April 1st and featured eight teams competing for their share of a $100,000 prize pool. Out of eight participating teams, four received direct invites – Heroic, North, Quantum Bellator Fire and Team Kinguin, while another four teams made it through the regional qualifier – Windigo Gaming, Sprout, Valiance and The Imperial.

In the group stage the teams were divided into two groups of four with round-robin format and best-of-three series. Top two teams from each group advanced to the single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three matches. North and Windigo Gaming made it from Group A, while Heroic and The Imperial qualified from Group B. In the playoffs Heroic defeated Windigo Games (2-0), while The Imperial managed to overcome North with the score of 2-0. The final series concluded with the 2-1 score in favour of The Imperial, who received $50,000 in prize money for their victory.
