Apex Legends GLL Paris Premier Event #1 Postponed

Respawn Entertainment, the developers of APEX Legends, have announced that the upcoming LAN-event GLL Paris Premier Event #1, which was scheduled for April 24-26th, has been suspended indefinitely. Meanwhile, PGL Bucharest Premier Event #2, which is planned to be held on May 30th-31st, will still be held if conditions allow.

Meanwhile, the online tournaments which are part of APEX Legends Global Series will continue to be played as planned. However, the participants of Online Tournament #2 (March 21st – 23rd) will no longer compete for tickets to GLL Paris Premier Event #1; instead, they will fight for cash prizes.

Earlier last week Electronic Arts, the publisher of APEX Legends, announced the suspension of all LAN-events of their games, including Apex Legends Global Series, EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series, FIFA Online 4 Live Events and Madden NFL 20 Championship Series due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
